EgyptInaugurates 'Uyun Musa Power Station In Sinai
On29 October Egyptian President Husni Mubarak officially inaugurated the 'UyunMusa Power Station on the west coast of the Sinai Peninsula opposite the Gulfof Suez. The 640mw station was built by the Egyptian Electricity Authority(EEA) prior to the introduction of the build-own-operate-transfer (BOOT) systemin Egypt at a cost of $420mn under a contract concluded in 1996 with theEgyptian/US consultant PGESCo....
