Algerias Export Revenues Rise 27% In 1999 To $11.91Bn
Algerias export revenues rose by 27% in 1999, from $9.4bn in 1998 to $11.91bn, according to the latest data released by the Central Bank of Algeria. Statistics released on 26 March showed that exports reached $7.15bn in the 2H 1999, compared to $4.76bn in 1H, largely due to higher oil prices. The value of FOB imports rose to $4.6bn in 2H 1999, an increase of 5.6% compared to the first six-month period...
