Israel Electric Speeds Talks On Gas Supplies
Israel Electric Corp (IEC) last week began talks in Cairo and London aimed at securing supplies of natural gas for its power plants. IEC said it wanted to accelerate the process of acquiring natural gas rather than wait for Israeli Government action in the hope of introducing natural gas by 2002 or 2003.
