Sonatrach Acquires Second New LPG Tanker
Algeria’s state-owned company Sonatrach has announced the acquisition of a second new LPG carrier from Kawasaki Heavy Industries of Japan. Named the Djanet, the $72mn ship has a capacity of 84,000 cu ms. It joins the Reggane, also with a capacity of 84,000 cu ms and built by Kawasaki, which was commissioned last November.
