World Bank And ADFD Lend Algeria $109Mn

The World Bank has lent Algeria $89mn to finance employment-intensive projectsin rural communities. The loan is repayable over 17 years, including a five-yeargrace period, with interest charged at the Bank's standard variable rate.Algeria will also receive a loan of Dh73.5mn ($20mn) from the Abu Dhabi Fund forDevelopment (ADFD) to help finance the construction of 600 housing units.
