Khalda Petroleum Makes New Gas Discovery
Khalda Petroleum Company - the joint venture owned 50% by the Egyptian GeneralPetroleum Corporation (EGPC), 25% by Repsol of Spain (operator), 20% by Apache of the USand 5% by Samsung of South Korea - has made a new gas discovery on its Khalda concessionin Egypt's Western Desert, according to an announcement by Apache in Houston on 30 April.The discovery well, Falak West 1-X, tested at a combined daily rate of 55mn cu. ft....
