Khalda Petroleum Announces New Oil Discovery In Western Desert
Australias Novus Petroleum announced on 26 June the discovery of a new oil reservoir in the Khalda Petroleum Companys Khalda concession in Egypts western desert. A company statement said the Salam North-7X exploration well had been drilled to a depth of 3,851ms in the Khatatba 2B reservoir and was now considered an oil producer after testing 928 b/d from 8ms of oil pay in the deeper Jurassic age...
