Morocco Signs Survey Agreement With Lasmo
Morocco's state-owned Office National de Recherches et d'Exploitation Pétrolieres(Onarep) has signed a $1.6mn reconnaissance license agreement with Lasmo Netherlands, asubsidiary of Lasmo plc of the UK. The deal covers a 7,000 sq. kms. block in theal-Suwayra area, located some 445 kms. south of the capital Rabat. Lasmo will undertake tosurvey the area within a 12-month period.
