Spain Lends Algeria $900Mn
The Spanish Government has agreed to lend Algeria $900mn under a protocol signed last week by the Spanish Trade and Tourism Minister, Mr. Gomez Navaro, and the Algerian Minister of Finance, Mr. Ahmad Benbitour. The protocol covers $400mn to finance trade operations between the two countries, $400mn for the purchasing of equipment and $100mn for unspecified social projects.
