OPEC Production Stays Steady In April
OPEC crude oil production remained essentially steady last month, declining by a modest 35,000 b/d to 25.78mn b/d in April from 25.815mn b/d in March, according to MEES estimates (see table below). This translates into an average of 25.80mn b/d for the first four months of this year, some 1.28mn b/d above the official quota ceiling of 24.52mn b/d.
