Mauritania Awards Exploration Acreage To Australia's Hardman Resources
Mauritania has signed a petroleum exploration contract with Hardman Resources of Australia. The permit covers a 24,645 sq. kms. area that includes the Senegal-Mauritania basin blocks 3, 4, and 5, and is for an initial period of three years during which one well will be drilled and 500 kms. of seismic testing will be conducted.
