Iranian Official Estimates Iran's Foreign Debt At $28bn
Iran's foreign debt stands at $28bn, according to the Head of the IranianChamber of Commerce, Mr. Alinaghi Khamushi. Speaking to students on 1 December,Mr. Khamushi added that $8bn was in arrears and that $4bn had been rescheduled.It is not clear whether the $4bn is considered part of the $8bn arrears.
