Oil and Gas Reserves Up 63% Over Last Ten Years
Egypt's oil and gas reserves increased by 62.8% to 7.7bn barrels of oilequivalent (boe) at the beginning of 1994 from 4.73bn boe at the beginning of1985, despite the production of a total of 3,900.6mn boe over the same period(see table below).
