Arab Energy Consumption Rises To Over 7.2Mn BOE/D In 2002
Total energy consumption (including oil products, natural gas, hydroelectricity and coal) in the Arab states rose by 2.1% in 2002 to 7.15mn barrels of oil equivalent/day (boe/d) compared to 7mn boe/d in 2001 and to 6.8mn boe/d in 2000, according to statistics published in the OAPEC Secretary Generals Annual Report for 2002.
