Total Arab Energy Consumption Rises By 5% In 1997
Total energy consumption in the Arab states increased in1997 to more than 6.09mn barrels of oil equivalent/day (boe/d), or by 4.9% fromthe previous year's figure of 5.8mn boe/d, according to the OAPEC AnnualStatistical Report for 1998 which has been recently released.
