Algeria Raises Fuel And Tobacco Prices
Algeria doubled the price of diesel fuel to AD6/ltr ($0.25/ltr) with effectfrom 7 March. The price of petrol was increased by 35% to AD8.5/ltr ($0.36/ltr)and the price of butane by 33% to AD40 ($1.68) for 13 kgs. The price ofcigarettes was increased by around 10%.
