Foreign Firms Invited to Exploit Saudi Arabia's Gold Deposits
The Saudi Council of Ministers last week decided to invite foreign firms tocome to the Kingdom to explore for, mine and produce gold. According to acabinet statement, companies selected for the mining projects would bear allcosts, with the Kingdom receiving its share of profits either through taxes orprofit-sharing schemes.
