UN Calls For Yemen Ceasefire To Allow Delivery Of Aid
The United Nations has called for an immediate ceasefire in northern Yemen, to allow the delivery of humanitarian aid to some 150,000 refugees in the war-torn region. UN Emergency Relief Coordinator John Holmes made the request during a meeting with Yemeni officials on 11 October, following the delayed arrival of a UN High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) aid convoy from Saudi Arabia....
