Libyan Output Surges Despite Continued Political Instability
Libyan crude production has surged past the 350,000 b/d mark and looks set to rise further as new fields come on stream, despite continued battles for control of remaining outposts loyal to former dictator Mu'ammar al-Qadhafi. The lack of an end to the fighting and failure to capture Col Qadhafi has postponed the formation of a new government.
