World Bank Lends Morocco $225mn
The World Bank has agreed to lend Morocco $225mn to be used in making farmingmore efficient and improving income distribution in the agricultural sector,according to an announcement on 25 November. The loan, which will also financeimports of fertilizers, pesticides and farm machinery, will be repaid in 20years including a five-year grace period.
