IEA Sees Demand Growth of 1.5% in First Half of 1987
According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), the slowdown in OECD oildemand growth from 4.8% in the second quarter of 1986 to 3% in 3Q and 2% in 4Qis likely to continue in the first half of 1987, when OECD demand is expected tobe only 1.5% higher than in the same period of 1986.
