Saudi Arabia Grants Sudan 1mn Tons of Crude
The Sudanese Minister of Finance, Mr. Bashir 'Umar, stated in an interview with the Abu Dhabi daily al-Ittihad of 15 July that Saudi Arabia had agreed to provide the Sudan with an emergency grant of 1mn tons of crude oil, which would meet the country's requirements for a period of six months.
