Sun Oil Issues Statement on Withdrawal from the Sudan
Sun Company of the US issued a statement on 19 June strongly denying a reportpublished by the Middle East News Agency (MENA) which quoted an official of theSudanese Ministry of Energy and Mining as saying that the company hadwithdrawn from the Sudan "because of financial difficulties" (MEES,25 June).
