Kazakhstan And China Inaugurate Crude Oil Pipeline
Kazakhstan and China on 15 December inaugurated the recently-completed Atasu-Alashankou crude oil pipeline (MEES, 21 November). The occasion marked the start of linefill for the 1,240km pipeline, which has an initial capacity of 10mn tons/year (200,000 b/d).
