China Reiterates Kazak Oil Pipeline Plans
The head of the Xinjiang Petroleum Administrative Bureau, Mr. Dai Mingzi, was reportedby the Chinese news agency Xinhua on 4 March as saying that China will build a3,000 km. pipeline to carry crude oil from Kazakstan to China's oil center in Karamay,which is located in the northwestern province of Xinjiang.
