AFESD Lends Yemen $136Mn For Marib Power Station, Road Development
The Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD) has lent Yemen a total of KD40mn ($136mn) to help finance the construction of a gas-fired power station in Marib and improvements to the road network in the capital San'a. The Marib power station loan is worth KD25mn ($85mn) and carries an interest rate of 3% and a maturity of 25 years, including a five-year grace period....
