Iraqi Exports Rise To 2Mn B/D As SOMO Markets Kirkuk Crude From Ceyhan
Iraq has resumed exports of Kirkuk crude from the Turkish port of Ceyhan almost a year after the toppling of the Saddam Husain regime. SOMO auctioned 6mn barrels to end-users in lots of 1mn barrels each to be lifted between the period 12-19 March. The contracts were awarded on 11 March to the European firms Shell, Total, Eni, Repsol, Hellenic Petroleum and Tupras, with all the crude destined...
