But Deficit At Around 3.5-4% Of GDP Set To Continue In 2004
The outlook for 2004 sees the budget largely unchanged from 2003. Both revenues and expenditure are set to rise by similar proportions leaving the deficit just JD23mn ($32mn) below 2003 budget level. The deficit continues to hover at around the 3.5-4% of GDP mark, where it has been since 1999. Nevertheless, the budget caused much controversy in the lower house of Jordans...
