NBK Says Kuwait Surplus For 2001-02 Closed Accounts Exceeds Forecasts
National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) said that Kuwaits closed accounts for fiscal year 2001-02 show that the country generated a surplus that exceeds the governments forecast and slightly surpasses NBKs projections. The surplus totaled KD590mn ($1=KD0.30261) before the allocation for the Reserve Fund for Future Generations (RFFG) and KD57mn after RFFG, coming in better than the KD1.44bn deficit...
