Irans External Debt Registers Further Decline
Irans total external debt at the end of 1378 (the year to 19 March 2000) fell by $3.642bn to $10.357bn ($3.618bn short term and $6.739bn medium and long term) from $13.999bn a year ago, according to statistics published by the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) in its latest quarterly bulletin, Economic Trends.
