EPA Reports Lowest US Fuel EconomyIn 21 Years
In a statement released on 4October, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) reported that the averagefuel economy of 2001-model vehicles in the US is 20.4 miles per gallon (mpg), a21-year low.
