Turkmenistan Produces 7Mn Tons Of Crude, 22.8BCM Of Natural Gas During 1999
According to official figures released by Ashgabat, Turkmenistans state-owned oil company Turkmenneft produced 7mn tons (140,000 b/d) of crude oil during 1999, 1mn tons of which was produced by western and Ukrainian companies working under production-sharing agreements. The figure marks an 11% increase over the 1998 crude production total of 6.3mn tons (MEES, 18 January 1998)....
