Libya's Oil Exports To Europe For 1996 Remain Stable At 1.17Mn B/D
Libya's total crude oil and petroleum products exports to Europe during 1996 amountedto 58.609mn metric tons, or approximately 1.172mn b/d, according to information recentlyreleased by the International Energy Agency (IEA). This is slightly higher than the 1995level of 58.242mn tons, or around 1.163mn b/d.
Italy maintained its traditional position as Europe's largest importer of Libyan oil....
