Elf To Develop Al-Khalij Field With Production Capacity Of 30,000 B/D
The Government of Qatar approved on 17 July the development plan worked outbetween the Qatar General Petroleum Corporation (QGPC), Elf Petroleum Qatar andAgip International B.V. for the development of the al-Khalij field located onBlock No. 6 offshore Qatar (MEES, 15 May and 13 February). Elf Petroleum Qatar,a unit of Elf Aquitaine, is the operator with a 55% interest and Agip holds 45%.
