Qatar National Bank Reports small Increase in Profits
Qatar National Bank (QNB) has reported profits of QR207mn for 1989, a 3%increase on the previous year. The loan portfolio grew by 24% to QR6,111mn,despite only a small increase in the total size of the balance sheet. Cash andmoney due from banks was reduced to QR4,633mn from QR5,607mn during the year,and customer accounts and provisions for contingencies fell slightly....
