IBRD Lends $211mn to Algeria
The World Bank has agreed to lend $211mn to Algeria to finance threeprojects, according to the Algerian News Service on 11 April. $143mn will helprepair 340km of railway track, $14mn will part finance the construction offour large and several small irrigation dams, and $54mn is to finance trainingschemes.
