The Jiddah-based Islamic Development Bank (IDB) has agreed to extend a loan of $50mn toAlexandria National Iron and Steel Company (ANISC) to help finance the construction of a$650mn plant for the manufacture of steel sheets at ANISC's steel works at al-Dakhila,near Alexandria.
