US Aid To Israel, Egypt And Jordan
The new US foreign aid bill, which was approved on 28 October in a House-Senatecompromise, is set at $12.8bn with $3bn allocated to Israel, $2.1bn to Egypt and $225mn toJordan. The latter's allocation was increased in recognition of King Husain's commitmentto the Middle East peace process.
