Aid Flows
Jordan Receives Promise Of $200Mn In Aid From Japan
Jordan has received a pledge of an extra $200mn in financial aid from Japan,the Japanese Embassy in Amman announced on 19 September. The money will be usedto assist Jordan's economic reforms and development projects. The aid is to beprovided in concert with measures undertaken by the International Monetary Fund(IMF) and the World Bank to help Jordan restructure its economy.
