US Renews Economic Sanctions
In late December the US administration renewed for the second year runningthe boycott measures against Libya for alleged support of internationalterrorism. Mr. Jadallah Azzouz al-Talhi, the Libyan Foreign Secretary, said in aletter to the UN Secretary General, that this latest renewal is an"expression of imperialist tyranny" and a preparation for armedaggression.
