US Department of Energy Warns of Falling Proved Oil and Gas Reserve
Proved oil reserves - defined as crude oil that could be produced from knownreservoirs under existing economic conditions - fell 1.6% or 431mn barrels to26.8bn barrels on 31 December 1988 compared to the previous year, according to areport published last week by the US Energy Department.
