US Accounted For 50% Of Egypts FDI In 2004-05
Some 50% of the $3.873bn foreign direct investment (FDI) which flowed into Egypt in 2004-05 came from the US, according to the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), with the lions share of the US FDI going to investments in the petroleum sector, the Cairo daily al-Ahram reported on 21 November.
