1986 Oil and Gas Output Drops 6.9%, Value of Oil Trade Surplus Falls 73.9%
Egypt's oil and gas output fell to 45,437,000 metric tons in 1986, accordingto the latest issue of al-Bitrul, the monthly magazine published by the EgyptianGeneral Petroleum Corporation (EGPC3, representing a drop of 6.9% from thefigure of 48,800,000 tons in 1985.
